WELCOME FATHER EUGENE ROY
All of us at Ste. Anne's extend a cordial welcome to
Father Eugene Roy who officially becomes our Pastor
today June 30th. We wish Fr. Eugene many happy years
with us as he becomes our shepherd. Fr. Eugene brings
to us his many talents and gifts especially his gift of
music. He is an accomplished pianist, organist and
vocalist. I am sure his talents will fill our community
with music and song. His baby grand piano will fill the
rectory with the gift of music. Let us pray that God
will bless and protect Fr. Eugene as he begins his
ministry to God's people at Ste. Anne's.

About
the Prayer Shawl Ministry...
This ministry consists of caring people who meet to
knit, crochet or quilt shawls and afghans for those who
need comforting in times of sickness, death and
difficult times in their lives. They are also presented
in times of celebration and joy.
Prayer Shawls surround the recipient in prayers, beauty,
peace and love.
This is a wonderful community of ladies (men are welcome
as well) who feel the call to share the gift of their
hands.

What is the Christian Initiation of Adults?
It is the rite that celebrates the decision of one wishing to become a
Christian in the Catholic Church.
R.C.I.A. classes run weekly from September until April. If you are

Canadian Certificate in Youth Ministry Studies
Cycle One begins September 11 – 12, 2010
This program equips leaders with the knowledge, skills, and practical
tools and techniques needed for creative comprehensive ministry with
youth. It is designed to nurture the personal, spiritual, and
ministerial growth of leaders for ministry in today’s Church. Upcoming
2010 dates: Sept. 11 – 12, Dec. 4 – 5. 2011 dates: March 5 – 6
and May 28 – 29.
WEEK DAY MASS INTENTIONS
As you all know are Mass Intentions are booked until almost the end of
October as of now. We will not be booking any more intentions for a
couple of months so we don’t get too far ahead of ourselves. Starting
again in August we will accept Mass Intentions. If we continue booking
throughout these two months we will be all booked until December. We
are trying this to get a little control over the massive numbers.
